THE RUSSIAN WORKOUT
The famous signature workout of the School of Classical Russian ballet, is a programme based on the Russian gymnastics used in the famous Russian ballet schools but which has been adapted for adult fitness by the school. You will notice and feel a change in your body within days. This low impact programme lengthens muscles and changes body shape while increasing core control and developing muscle strength in the entire body and particularly in the glutes and legs. It targets all the muscles by working from the feet up through the back and neck. It offers a tremendous sense of body control and connection. As a proportional workout for every muscle, it is great as a stand- alone programme but is also an excellent balance for sportsmen as a complimentary form of exercise to prevent injury or to rehabilitate after it. There is a stretch element throughout and everyone loves the sense of well- being after class.
